Dream Fury Comics
Dream Fury Comics is a black owned independent comic book publishing company. Dream Fury Comics has two award winning titles - Crescent City Monsters and Kisha Demon. The publishing company was founded in 2016 by comic book writer and I.T. consultant, Newton Lilavois. As a black comic book writer, Newton's ambition is to create exciting horror, sci-fi, and action stories with strong black leads.
After building up a loyal fan base, Dream Fury Comics launched a Kickstarter campaign in 2018 to fund the printing of the first issue. Following the first successful campaign, two more successful Kickstarters were funded for the printing of issues two and three. So far, Dream Fury Comics has raised more than $100,000 in funding from seven Kickstarter campaigns.
